Boston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts wore these low-top New Balance cleats during the 2015 MLB season. Bogaerts had a breakout season in 2015, his second full year in the major leagues, hitting .320 with seven homers, 81 RBI, and 35 doubles. Bogaerts earned the American League shortstop Silver Slugger award for his hitting in 2015, with his first career All-Star appearance coming the following season in 2016.
These New Balance cleats are black and red, with white New Balance logos applied to each side of the cleats, each heel, and the tongues. The insides of the cleats feature a digital camouflage pattern. Eight metal cleats are present on the soles. Bogaerts has signed the toe of each cleat in silver marker, inscribing “2015 GU” in addition to each signature. These cleats come with a LOA from Anderson Authentics (3210, 3211).
