The Blue Jays won this game 6-5, with Encarnacion crushing a solo home run, his 28th of the season, off Kevin Gausman in the first inning. Encarnacion finished this game 2-3 with a homer, double, RBI, walk, and two runs scored. Encarnacion’s second game in this jersey came on August 8th, against the Tampa Bay Rays at Rogers Centre. The Jays won this game 7-5, with Encarnacion collecting another first inning homer. The current Mariner finished the game 3-5 with three RBI and a run scored.
