Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant wore these white Nike KD 9 ‘USA’ sneakers during the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics. Durant and Carmelo Anthony were the only two remaining members of the United States team from the 2012 Olympic Games, and as such Durant was tasked with being the team’s offensive catalyst and leader. Durant led the USA to a perfect 8-0 record and yet another gold medal in international basketball, scoring a team-high 19.1 points per game to go with 5 boards, 3.5 assists, and a .581 three-point field goal percentage. The former Oklahoma City Thunder man scored 30 points in the gold medal game against Serbia, a 96-66 United States victory over a team laden with NBA talent. Durant’s Olympic success proved a springboard to greater NBA success, as the former Texas Longhorn has won two Finals MVP awards with the Warriors in the years following his Olympic triumph.

These low-top Nike KD 9 ‘USA’ sneakers are size “18”, with red Nike swoosh logos applied to both sides of the shoes. Durant’s personal logo is applied to the back of each shoe in blue. The sole of each shoe is white. These shoes show light wear and are accompanied by a LOA from MEARS for the game use.
