During the Chicago Cubs run to their first World Series title in 108 years, they had to get past the San Francisco Giants. After the Cubs took a 2-0 series lead with two home victories, the Giants responded with a 13-inning victory in Game 3 and riding the momentum of Game 3’s win, San Francisco seemingly had the Cubs on the ropes and on the verge of evening the best-of-five series.

The Cubs were trailing Game 4 of the NLDS played on October 11, 2016 5-2 as they entered the top of the ninth inning. National League MVP Kris Bryant, wearing this offered photo matched Majestic Flex Base size 48 button-down Cubs’ road gray jersey, led off the ninth inning with single to left field to start the rally. After Anthony Rizzo walked, Ben Zobrist doubled down the right field line scoring Bryant and moving Rizzo to third. Two hits and an error later, the Cubs had erased the 5-2 deficit to take a 6-5 lead. Aroldis Chapman came on to close out the bottom of the ninth inning as the Cubs advanced to the NLCS.

This gray jersey features “CHICAGO” sewn on across the chest in blue and white tackle twill. Bryant’s number “17” is sewn on below in red and white tackle twill. The Majestic tag is screen-printed on the bottom front left tail with an additional Majestic bar code tag on the inside center tail that reads “#17 2016 48T”. The back of the jersey has “BRYANT” sewn on in blue and white tackle twill with his number “17” sewn on in red and white tackle twill. The right sleeve has the plastic “2016 POSTSEASON” logo patch, while the left sleeve has the Cubs’ logo patch sewn on above the Majestic logo embroidered in blue. This is a wonderful opportunity to own a playoff jersey from the 2016 National League MVP and it comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB398481), which authenticates that Bryant wore this jersey for Game 4 of the NLDS. This jersey has also been photo matched by Resolution Photomatching to Game 4 of the NLDS on October 11, 2016.
