Not content with one American League MVP Award, Mike Trout followed up his tremendous 2014 season with an equally spectacular 2016, hitting a nice .315 with 29 homers and an even 100 RBI. The offensive output was voted the best effort in the AL that summer and Trout took home his second MVP Award in three years. Along the way he banged out 173 hits, three of which came off the barrel of this bat.

Trout’s Old Hickory MT27* model bat was manufactured during the 2015 season but used by the two-time MVP during the 2016 season. The bat is un-cracked and shows outstanding use by the Angels star. Many ball marks and stitch impressions are found on the barrel, three of which are his 115, 116 and 117th of his 2016 MVP season. Blue ink transfers are visible as are cleat imprints and the impression of a weighted batting donut. The lower handle has been taped in Trout’s trademark fashion with Lizard Skin tape to enhance the grip. The bat’s length “33.5” is stamped into the handle and Trout has signed the barrel in silver pen, adding “16 G/U.” A real gamer with all the bells and whistles, attributed to three hits in Trout’s second MVP-winning season. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14102) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10. There is also a LOA from Anderson Authentics (2482) for the signature.
