Boston Red Sox right fielder Mookie Betts had a breakout 2016 season as he was a key contributor to the Red Sox’s first place finish in the American League East. Betts finished the season with 31 home runs and 113 RBI, while hitting a robust .318 and finishing second in the MVP voting. Betts had two of his best offensive games of the season on May 31st and June 1st in Baltimore, where he combined to hit five home runs, tying the Major League record for most home runs in a two-game span.
