Washington Nationals young star Trea Turner had a terrific rookie season, appearing in 73 games and hitting 13 home runs with 40 RBI and a robust .342 average. Wearing this Nationals’ gray road jersey, Turner appeared in 27 games going 41-for-112 with three home runs, 15 RBI, 22 runs scored and four walks. This was also the very jersey Turner wore when he made his Major League debut on June 3rd and ultimately finished second in the NL Rookie of the Year voting.

The jersey features “Washington” sewn on in cursive script across the chest in red and navy tackle twill. Turner’s number “7” is sewn on the center right chest in red and navy tackle twill with red and navy joined piping that is around the collar. The back of the jersey has “TURNER” and “7” sewn on in red, navy and white tackle twill and a rubberized MLB logo patch sewn on the upper neck. Each sleeve end has the red and blue piping with the left sleeve having the Washington Nationals logo patch sewn on above the navy Majestic logo and the right sleeve having the “2016 POSTSEASON” rubberized patch. The Majestic size 46 tag is screen printed on the bottom front left tail, while the team bar code tag is screen printed vertically beneath the buttons and reads “#7 2016 46 413”. This jersey comes with a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication (19103E2), who authenticated this jersey for use of in the entire regular season the Nationals wore their gray jerseys and have photo matched it the August 3rd, 2016 game where he hit his second career home run.
