Philadelphia 76ers superstar point guard Ben Simmons wore this white Association Edition Sixers jersey for two games in the 2017-18 NBA season. Simmons wore this jersey during the Sixers 119-102 victory over the Charlotte Hornets at Spectrum Center on April 1st, and again during Philadelphia’s 121-113 win against the Atlanta Hawks at Phillips Arena on April 10th. Simmons shouldered the starring role for the Sixers, who played the two games without All-Star big man Joel Embiid. On April 1st, Simmons exploded for 20 points on 10-17 shooting, with 15 assists and 8 rebounds in the 76ers 17-point win. Simmons’ 15 assists were a career-high as of the start of the 2018-19 NBA season. For good measure, the Aussie rookie added three steals and two blocks in a foul-free game.
On April 10th, Simmons recorded a second double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds in just under 29 minutes. Simmons added six assists and two steals in this game, the penultimate regular season contest of his rookie year. After the season ended, Simmons was named the 2017-18 NBA Rookie of the Year with averages of 15.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 8.2 assists per game.
This white Association Edition jersey has “PHILA” sewn across the chest in blue tackle twill with a red border. Simmons’ number “25” is sewn on the chest and back in red-bordered blue tackle twill. “SIMMONS” is sewn across the back shoulders in blue tackle twill below a NBA logo patch. A three-time NBA champions gold tag is sewn on the back outside collar. A blue Nike swoosh and a blue StubHub patch are sewn on the chest. The sides of this jersey are accented with red, white, and blue, as are the sleeve and collar openings. Three white tackle twill stars sewn on the left side and four white tackle twill stars sewn on the right side. A black microphone pouch is sewn on the inside of the left side of the jersey. A Nike size “46” tag and a NBA Authentics tag are sewn on the front left tail. A “Length +4” flag is attached to the Nike tag. “Brotherly Love” is embroidered in gold above the Nike tag.
