Dallas Mavericks star and Slovenian National Basketball Team icon Luka Doncic wore this blue road Slovenia jersey during play in the 2017 F.I.B.A. EuroBasket Tournament. Doncic, at the time a teenaged rising legend for Real Madrid, helped lead Slovenia to their first ever EuroBasket title with a 93-85 defeat of Serbia in the gold medal game. El Niño Maravilla was a force of nature throughout the tournament, averaging 14.3 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game for an undefeated Slovenian team. Doncic exploded for 27 points and 9 rebounds in Slovenia’s 103-97 victory over Serbia in the quarterfinals before notching a near triple-double of 12 points, 11 rebounds, and 8 assists in Slovenia’s 20-point drubbing of a star-studded Spain team in the semi-finals.

 After his pan-European coming-out party, Doncic was selected with the third overall pick of the 2018 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks, who dealt his draft rights to the Mavericks in exchange for Trae Young. Halfway through his rookie season, Doncic looks like an absolute steal for Dallas, and the clear heir to his fellow European wunderkind Dirk Nowitzki. Through 42 games, all starts, the Ljubljana-born sensation has averaged 20.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 5 assists per game for the energetic young Mavericks. Doncic was named the NBA Rookie of the Month for November and December of 2018 after flashing his advanced ability to take over games at a moments notice. The sky is the limit for the 19-year old Slovenian, and this 2017 Slovenia jersey is a thrilling memento from the very first days of what could easily become a Hall of Fame career.

This blue Slovenia jersey is accented with bright yellow around the shoulders and collar, while three yellow Adidas stripes run down each side of the jersey. “SLOVENIJA” and Doncic’s number “77” are applied to the chest of the jersey in the same bright yellow color. “DONCIC” and a second “77” are applied to the back of the jersey in bright yellow. Slovenia’s iconic mountains are depicted twice on the back of the jersey, once on the back collar and once on the back tail. “Spar” and “Nova KBM” advertisements are applied to the back tail of the jersey. Applied to the chest of the jersey is a Slovenian flag, a “FIBA: We Are Basketball” logo, a “KZS” logo, and an Adidas logo. A rectangular Telemach logo is applied to the front tail.
