Colorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story wore this purple alternate Rockies home jersey on September 1st, 2017 against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Coors Field. Story knocked in three RBI in this contest, a 9-5 Diamondbacks victory, plating Carlos Gonzalez on a sacrifice fly in the sixth before sending Mark Reynolds and Ian Desmond home on a seventh inning double, his 23rd of the season. Story, in his sophomore MLB season, hit 24 homers with 82 RBI and 32 doubles for the playoff-bound Rockies.

This offered Rockies alternate jersey is a purple button-down, with “COLORADO” sewn across the chest in silver, black, and white tackle twill. Story’s number “27” is sewn on the chest and back in black and white tackle twill, while “STORY” is sewn across the back shoulders in the same fashion. A Rockies logo patch and a white Majestic logo are sewn on the left sleeve. This jersey was prepared for the postseason and features a 2017 Postseason patch sewn on the left sleeve, although the jersey was not worn in the 2017 MLB Postseason. A Majestic size “46” tag is applied to the front left tail. Story has signed the “7” digit on the back of the jersey in silver marker. The jersey comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JB896692) and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication Services (A17177) for Story’s signature.
