Graded MINT 9 by BGS, with signature graded "10" by Beckett. Hall of Famer. This unique booklet represents a stellar tribute to the great Lou Gehrig. As noted in the booklet's text, the 6-time World Series Champion was the first major league player in the 20th Century to accomplish the feat of clubbing four home runs in a single game. This booklet incorporates a very sharp, neatly scripted ink cut signature, as well as a stylized "Iron Horse" die-cut revealing game used jersey material. The wholly unique, limited-edition piece is serial-numbered "1/1." Panini's "National Treasure" booklets stand among the hobby's most cherished autograph/memorabilia cards. The items consist of two panels separated by a decorative binding that allows the assembly to be once-folded to standard, single-card size. A statement on the booklet's back asserts Panini's guarantee of genuineness for the vintage components, and serves as the item's COA.
