Doncic was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks as the third overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, and was traded to the Dallas Mavericks. Prior to the 2018/19 season, the young Slovenian star was projected to win the NBA's Rookie of the Year title. He didn't disappoint, and claimed that coveted award.
