On October 1, 2018, the Milwaukee Brewers were at Wrigley Field to play the Chicago Cubs. In the bottom of the 6th, Javier Baez came to bat against Brewers starter Joakim Soria. Using this Marucci bat, Baez ran the count full before striking out on a four-seam fastball to end the inning. The white Marucci JB29-A model bat shows good game use with many ball marks and scuffs visible on the barrel. The impression from a batting donut is present along with bat rack paint streaks. The handle has a heavy coat of pine tar and the end has his number “9” I black marker. The knob end has his number “9” along with the bat’s specs neatly printed in black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17613) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.5 and an MLB Authenticated hologram (JD563123) for the game use.
