New York Yankees first baseman Luke Voit wore this Players Weekend pullover alternate jersey on August 26th, 2018 against the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards. Voit, who was traded to New York from St. Louis in late June, opened the scoring against the O’s with a two-run homer in the top of the second inning. His longball was his fourth homer of the season and the eighth of his career. Voit finished this game, a 5-3 Yankees win, 3-3 with two RBI, two runs scored, and a walk. Voit quickly became a fan favorite in New York after slashing .333/14/33 in only 39 games with the Yankees.
This Players Weekend jersey is navy, with gray sleeves. “Yankees” is sewn across the chest in white and navy tackle twill. “LOUIS” and Voit’s number “45” are sewn on the back of the jersey in white tackle twill below a ChromaFlex Players Weekend MLB logo.
