In 2018 Atlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies became the youngest player in Major League history to slug two grand slam home runs in a season. Albies went on to hit 22 more homers and bat .305, making his first All-Star game as well. Used during that 2018 season, Albies’ Rawlings OA1 model bat shows awesome game use with a handle crack. The barrel is covered with many tremendous ball marks that include white leather scuffs, ink transfers and stitch impressions. There are bat rack paint streaks visible along with cleat imprints and abrasions from contact with the ground. The handle has a light coat of pine tar and the knob is stamped with “BUCHI. 05/22/18. 912-18.” Albies has signed the barrel in blue marker, completing this well-used gamer. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18439) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9 and a LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signature.
