One of the games brightest future stars is the 21-year-old Boston Celtics phenom Jayson Tatum.  Selected third overall in 2017 after one season with Duke, Tatum immediately rose to popularity helping guide the Celtics to an NBA Eastern Conference Finals in his rookie season.   He became the first Celtics rookie to score 20 points in five straight playoff games. Bird held the previous record of four. At the end of his playoff run, he joined Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the only rookies in playoff history to record 10 games of 20 or more points scored during their first playoff runs.  Tatum was praised by LeBron James and called the games next Superstar after his performance.  In 2019 Tatum won the NBA All Star Skills challenge and has continued his rise to superstardom in the 2019-2020 NBA Season thus far, off to a torrid start.

These Nike Kyrie Five sneakers feature an ultra-desirable black and hot pink color scheme.  Both shoes have been signed on the toe by Tatum in Silver and come with his handwritten “Deuce” in honor of his two-year-old son, Jason Tatum Jr. The shoes were worn for multiple games including games on Jan 2, 2019 against the Timberwolves where he scored 8 pts in 31 minutes on the court in a team Victory.  He also wore these sneakers the following game on Jan 4, 2019 against the Mavericks in what would be Dirk Nowitzki’s final appearance at the TD Garden.  Tatum went off for 18 Pts in the contest and the Celtics cruised to a 114-93 victory.  The signatures on the shoes have been authenticated by JSA while the pair have been conclusively photo-matched by Resolution photo-matching.
