The Nike Air Jordan 4’s were introduced right before the 2019 NCAA Men’s Tournament with six colleges receiving player-exclusive colorways that included Michael Jordan’s alma mater North Carolina, along with Georgetown, Marquette, Oklahoma, Michigan and Florida. The Jordan 4’s featured the school color palettes on the premium suede upper portions and contrasting splatter details on the midsoles. Each college’s logo was printed on the tongues.
What makes these sneakers special was that they were not released to the general public, only to the selected schools of the Jordan brand and were only given exclusively to the UNC basketball team and some staff members. Offered here is a pair of University of North Carolina Nike Air Jordan 4 sneakers. These valor blue sneakers are a size nine with the tags labeling them as a “SALES CFM SAMPLE” and the back of the tongues having been embroidered “BASKETBALL”. The offered set here come with the original box and are a limited edition 16/23. The inside tongues have “UNC” embroidered in valor blue on a dark blue patch on the left shoe and “BASKETBALL” in the same manner on the right shoe. Below each of the “UNC” and “BASKETBALL” is “16”, which is embroidered directly to the material in valor blue.
North Carolina’s interlocking “NC” is in dark blue with “Flight” embroidered in silver, all on a matching valor blue patch that is located on the outside tongue. The laces are a powder blue color with the toes and sides made of valor blue suede. These sneakers are in pristine condition and come with the original Air Jordan 4 box. The two piece box has a gray with black speckled base that has a white tag that reads “SRF/BOM ID: AJ4-1043515”, “SHOE NAME: AIR JORDAN 4 RETRO”, “COLOR: VALOR BLUE/COLLEGE NAVY-WHITE” and “SHOE SIZE: 09 S8 RAR”. The cover of the box is black with a Red Air Jordan Logo and “Flight” in white.
