Shohei Ohtani added another accolade to his already astounding career when he became the first Japanese-born player to hit for the cycle during the Los Angeles Angels' 5-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg on June 13, 2019. The multi-talented Ohtani came out swinging in the first inning and hit a three-run home run to left-center. Ohtani smacked a double to deep left during the top of the second inning and followed up with a triple to right field during the top of the fifth inning. Ohtani would hit complete the cycle by hitting a single to center during the top of the seventh inning.

Offered here are the pair of Asics batting gloves worn by Shohei Ohtani when he hit for the cycle against the Tampa Bay Rays on June 13, 2019. The white leather and plastic gloves feature the Asics "A" logo on the backhand in gold and black plastic. The burgundy zig-zagged patterns are located on the backhand. "S.O.17" appears embroidered in red on the Velcro wrist strap of each glove. The gloves display excellent evidence of game use and contain heavy stains on the inside palms and fingers. The gloves come with MLB Authenticated holograms (JD699962-Right Glove, JD699961-Left Glove) for the game use.
