This original 20x24 photograph, taken by Yankee photographer David Blumenthal and matted on a 32x28 white board, shows the Bambino suiting up in Yankee pinstripes before “Old Timers Day” on June 13, 1948. Just a short two months later, Ruth passed away. The photograph comes with a letter of provenance from David Blumenthal.
