Presented is a baseball with the signatures of 11 members of Major League Baseball’s 500 home run club on an Official American League baseball (Bobby Brown, President). Ted Williams has signed his name in blue ballpoint pen on the sweet spot. Below Williams is the signature of Jimmie Fox, also in blue pen. On the panel to the left of the OAL Brown stamp is the signature of Mike Schmidt in blue ballpoint. To the right are the signatures of, from top to bottom:  Willie McCovey (blue pen); Mickey Mantle (blue pen); Harmon Killebrew (blue pen) and Reggie Jackson (blue pen). Below the “Cushioned Cork Center” stamp are the signatures, in blue ink, of Hank Aaron and Ernie Banks. Above the “Rawlings” stamp are the signatures, in blue ink, of Frank Robinson and Eddie Matthews. 

On August 11, 1929, Babe Ruth became the first member of the 500 Home Run club. Ruth ended his career with 714 home runs, a record which stood from 1935 until Hank Aaron surpassed it in 1974. Aaron's ultimate career total, 755, remained the record until Barry Bonds set the current mark of 762 during the 2007 season.  As of this season, there are 27 players in the 500 Home Run club. Ted Williams (.344) holds the highest batting average among the club members while Harmon Killebrew (.256) holds the lowest. This ball comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (Y04261).
