Before Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant signed with Nike, he had a deal with Adidas and these offered sneakers were called “The Kobe” Ice Blue samples. Made in 2001, these “Ice” blue sneakers have the Adidas three stripes recessed on each side. A dark gray border rounds out the bottom of the sneaker and the heels have the Adidas logos and a clear strip above. The CLU Factory tag has the “Stage # Confirmation Sample” and “Date 2001/03/01” with a big “REVISED” stamp. These sneakers are a size 8.5 and an additional Confirmation Sample signed by the Project Manager, Development Manager, Commercialization Manager and Production Manager, all dating March of 2001.
