The "Sultan of Swat" hit one out of the park, figuratively speaking, with a superb autograph on this "Minor League Banner" baseball. The most iconic baseball star ever to step inside a batter's box, Babe Ruth was larger than life and so was his signature, which rates 9/10 here in black fountain pen ink. The ball, which grades as EX-MT 6, has the date "7-15-39", written on a side panel, although it is not known whose hand is responsible for that notation. A much lighter version of the "7-15-39" appears on the south panel, but that has significantly faded over time. This is a very bold Ruth signature on a very nice conditioned vintage orb. Comes with full LOA from PSA/DNA, overall graded 8, cert number Q05992. Also comes with full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
