The late WWE Hall of Famer Big Boss Man used this night stick, his trademark tool, during the inaugural SummerSlam
Pay-Per-View event held at the venerable Madison Square Garden in New York City
on August 29th, 1988. The Big Boss Man faced off against Koko B. Ware in the
squared circle and defeated him via pinfall after a ferocious slam. Leading up to
SummerSlam ‘88, Boss Man's post-match routine often included handcuffing his
defeated opponents to the ring ropes and beating them with a nightstick, or ball and
chain. The offered night stick here is all-black with a perpendicular handle. A U.S.
Patent stamp is on the handle. This item comes directly from the WWE Corporation
and an LOA from the WWE will accompany this item, authenticating its use during
the 1988 SummerSlam.
