This offered baseball was used during the last game of Cal Ripken, Jr’s historic consecutive game streak. The Official American League Gene A. Budig stamped ball shows great game use with toning throughout and a prominent abrasion mark across the stamped sweet spot that has bled the blue stampings. At some point the ball was taken out of the game and put aside for posterity, an actual piece of game number 2,632. The Iron Man then signed the ball’s sweet spot and inscribed an adjacent north panel with “Game Ball 9-19-98 2632” in blue ballpoint pen. A great piece that displays beautifully from the last night of one of sport’s most impressive records. This ball shows good game use with rubbed dirt marks throughout and the aforementioned abrasion marks. This comes directly from the personal collection of Cal Ripken, Jr. and a signed LOA from Cal will accompany this historic item.

Cal Ripken, Jr. Consecutive Game (All-Time Record) #2632 Game Used & Signed OAL Budig Baseball From 9/19/1998 (Ripken LOA)
