Hall of Famer and baseball Iron Man Cal Ripken, Jr. hit his 300th career home run on May 24th, 1994 when he took Milwaukee Brewers’ pitcher Teddy Higuera deep for a key 3-run home run in the top of the 3rd inning. Ripken’s blast brought the Orioles within a run after Milwaukee jumped out to an early 5-0 lead. The Orioles would tack on 9 more runs as they would cruise to a 13-5 victory County Stadium in Milwaukee.

Offered here is the very bat Ripken used when he hit 300th career home run. This Louisville Slugger P72 model bat displays outstanding game use and has a crack on the handle. There are ball marks, stitch impressions and white leather scuffs present on the barrel. Ripken has added a piece of athletic tape that wraps around the lower barrel and has written “1994” in blue on one side and "300 HR Higuera MIL" in black marker on the other side. Ripken has also signed this bat in silver marker on the barrel and inscribed “Career Home Run #300”. A great gamer tied directly to a milestone home run. This bat comes from the personal collection of Cal Ripken, Jr. and a signed LOA will accompany this bat. Additionally, there is a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B19741) for the game use.
