Presented is a Carlo Gambino signature in a framed display of a business check and black and white photograph of the former New York “mob boss.” Gambino has signed the $1,000 Chase Manhattan Bank check in black pen. The check from “S. G. S. Associates” is dated May 9, 1963. The 3½ x 8½-inch ivory Gambino-signed check is mounted in a black paper matte, below a 7 x 9-inch black and white photograph of Gambino in a dark overcoat and hat, hands handcuffed in front of him, being escorted out of a building. The signed check and photograph are displayed in a 19 x 23-inch carved gold wood and glass frame. This item comes with a LOA from JSA.
