Presented is a sheet of letterhead with seven signatures, including Tris Speaker, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope.  The 7¼ x 10 ½-inch white letterhead has the legend “Acacia Country Club South Euclid, Ohio” in blue printed at the top.  There is some browning on the top edge of the paper.  In the center of the page are the following signatures in black ink:  Bob Hope, Jerry Colonna, Tony Romano, Tris Speaker, and Bing Crosby.  Just below Crosby’s signature are two more signatures, in black pencil:  Wallace A. Stuart and Russ Winick.  Speaker is considered one of the best offensive and defensive center fielders in the history of Major League Baseball. He compiled a career batting average of .345 (sixth all-time). His 792 career doubles represent an MLB career record. His 3,514 hits are fifth in the all-time hits list. Defensively, Speaker holds career records for assists, double plays, and unassisted double plays by an outfielder. His fielding glove was known as the place "where triples go to die.” He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937.  

Hope was a stand-up comedian, vaudevillian, actor, singer, dancer, athlete, and author. With a career that spanned nearly 80 years, Hope appeared in more than 70 short and feature films, with 54 feature films with Hope as star, including a series of seven "Road" musical comedy movies with Crosby as Hope's top-billed partner. Crosby the first multimedia star, a leader in record sales, radio ratings, and motion picture grosses from 1931 to 1954.  He won an Academy Award for Best Actor in 1944 for “Going My Way.” Colonna was a frequent co-star of both Hope and Crosby, primarily on the radio. This item comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
