Los Angeles Lakers talisman Kobe Bryant has signed this pair of black Adidas Kobe I sneakers he wore during the 2000-01 season. Originally released in 2000, the shoes were modelled after Bryant’s vehicle at the time, an Audi TT Roadster, and feature a streamlined yet futuristic design. Bryant, a five-time NBA champion and true legend of the game, averaged 25.0 points per game during his 20-season career before tragically passing away at the age of 41 in January of 2020. The centerpiece of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame’s class of 2020, Bryant’s is widely regarded as the most important NBA player since Michael Jordan. Bryant has signed both of these size 14 shoes in silver marker, inscribing his then-number “8” below each signature. These shoes display light game use and come with a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication for the game use and individual LOAs from Beckett Authentication Services for the signatures.
