Presented here is a size 11 ½ Air Jordan DJ2 turf shoe worn by Derek Jeter. The turf shoe features a black and metallic silver colorway. “DJ2” appears in silver and black on the tongue of the shoe. The number “2” appears in silver at the base of the tongue just above the toe box. The Jordan “Jumpman” logo appears in silver on the outstep and back heel of the shoe. “JETER” appears vertically on the outside upper of the shoe. The iconic Nike “Swoosh” logo appears stamped on the white mudguard on the outstep of the shoe and back heel. The yellow and black plastic soles feature rubber spikes and the Nike “Swoosh” logo imprinted in white on the midsole. Please note that the code on the inside (HQ06) signifies that the shoe was manufactured in 2006, and the signing for this shoe was on March 22, 2008, so the turf shoe was most likely worn during the 2006 or 2007 seasons, or the 2008 preseason. Jeter signed his name across the outstep of the shoe with a silver metallic paint pen. The turf shoes show elements of game use and contain dirt attached to the rubber spikes on the sole, numerous stains on the instep and lateral side of the toe box, and stains on the left outstep.
