This is a Derek Jeter signed 2002 MLB All-Star Game American League jersey. The former New York Yankees captain has signed his name in black marker at the top of his number “2”, sewn on in white tackle twill on the back of the navy-blue mesh jersey. “Jeter” is sewn on in white letters above the number across the back, below a white strip and a white, gold and blue embroidered MLB logo. The left sleeve has a red, blue, gold, and white embroidered “MLB 2002 All-Star Game” patch above a white embroidered Majestic logo. The right sleeve has a red, white and blue Yankees logo patch. The front of the jersey has two white stripes down the front framing six blue buttons, and the logo “American” embroidered in blue letters with white and gold border. The 2002 Major League Baseball All-Star Game was held on July 9, 2002 at Miller Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the home of the Milwaukee Brewers of the NL. The game controversially ended with a 7–7 tie due to both teams running out of available pitchers. This item comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A88124).
