Jeter has signed his name in silver marker on the barrel of the commemorative bat, which features tan engraving on black wood. The inscription “14x AL ALL-STAR 5x World Series Champion 5x AL Silver Slugger Award 2x Hank Aaron Award 3,000 Hit Club 2000 World Series MVP 1996 AL Rookie of the Year” is on the center of the barrel, with an engraved logo for his final season (2014)  captioned “Derek Jeter New York Yankees Captain” and his number, “2”, at the end of the barrel. This item comes with a COA from Steiner Sports and an MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ197898) dating Jeter’s signature to August 6, 2014.
