Even though he had not played for Baltimore since 2006, former Ravens running back Jamal Lewis was still awarded a 2012 Super Bowl ring by the team for his long-standing affiliation with the franchise. (He still ranks as the team’s all-time leading rusher) and his induction to the Ravens Ring of Honor during the 2012 season. Speaking of rings, this monster size-15 behemoth, manufactured by Jostens is made of solid 10K white gold, weighs 87.72 grams and contains 3.75 carats worth of diamonds. This is the same size and style ring that the players received, except Lewis’s ring contains “ROH” on the side, standing for “Ring of Honor”. Most of the diamonds are clustered into the shape of a sunken football stadium with a pair of diamond-studded Lombardi Super Bowl trophies super imposed over the top signifying the Ravens two Super Bowl victories. (Lewis was with the team for its first championship in 2000 and the Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 in 2012). A diamond studded Ravens mascot runs across the top of the Super Bowl trophies. The words “World Champions” are engraved into the ring on its top opposite sides and yet even more diamonds fill in the two upper deck end zone sections. Two large .75 carat marquis-cut (football shaped) diamonds crown the top of the Lombardi trophies. Lewis’ name is engraved into one shank of the ring above a Ravens coat of arms surrounded by the words “Play Like a Raven” and the initials ROH signifying Lewis Ring of Honor status. A diamond-studded “2012” and the Super Bowl XLVII logo with yet another diamond-capped Lombardi trophy are engraved on the ring’s opposite shank. The Ravens logo and the words “The Team, The Team, The Team” as well as the scores of the Ravens post season games and opposing team logos are engraved on the rings interior. The Ring is housed in a shiny black 4” x 6” display case box with a metallic purple and gold Ravens logo relief carved into the top and Jamal Lewis name and a Ravens coat of arms are engraved into a mirror on the underside of the lid. This spectacular Super Bowl ring is accompanied by paperwork from the pawn shop where Jamal Lewis pawned his rings.
