Jamie Sharper started the first eight games of the 2005 season for the Seahawks after signing with the team as a free agent, but a staph infection in his right knee landed him on injured reserve that December, causing the talented linebacker to miss Seattle’s run to the Super Bowl. Sharper was on the sideline for Super Bowl XL in Detroit, however, and witnessed the Seahawks’ heartbreaking 21-10 loss to the Steelers. This blue signed Seattle Seahawks home jersey features Sharper’s signature in bold, blue sharpie on the right “5” on the back of his number “55” jersey. The jersey has several modifications, including a cut-out neck that left the stitched NFL logo patch on the front collar sliced in half. Sharper’s number “55” appears in white-on-navy tackle twill on the front, back and both shoulders of the jersey. “SHARPER” appears across the back in white tackle twill on a blue name plate. The left chest of the jersey features a “SUPER BOWL XL” patch, while “SEAHAWKS” is stitched in white above Sharper’s number “55” on the front. Reebok and Seahawks logos are stitched on to both shoulders of the jersey. The inside collar of the jersey features white strip tag that reads “03-46,” indicating the jersey’s year and size. There is another white strip tag that reads “D” and a Seattle Seahawks barcode below, number “8504-46-D-6-N.” The front tail of the jersey features a “Reebok NFL EQUIPMENT” manufacturer’s tag with two affixed tags that read “46” and “6” L.B.,” indicating the jersey’s size and size modifications. The signature comes with PSA/DNA certification number “U77462” and the jersey comes with an LOA from Jamie Sharper.
