DiMaggio, a 13-year pro, made the American League All-Star team in every season of his career while leading the Yankees to a staggering nine World Series titles. The three-time American League MVP retired after leading the Yankees to the 1951 World Series title and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1955.
