The Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has signed this roster sheet from the 1968 NCAA Basketball championship game. Abdul-Jabbar’s 28-1 UCLA Bruins faced the 28-3 UNC Tar Heels for the title at the Sports Arena in Los Angeles. The junior star, then known as Lew Alcindor, scored 34 points on 15 of 21 shooting to go with 16 rebounds in UCLA’s commanding 78-55 defeat of the Tar Heels. This offered championship game roster sheet is printed with the UCLA and North Carolina rosters on one side, while the reverse side features the teams in the consolation game, Houston and Ohio State. Abdul-Jabbar has signed this item in blue marker on the UCLA section. This item comes with a signed LOA from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar himself.
