Offered in this lot is a stunning purple cashmere New Era cap from Kobe Bryant’s famed “24 Collection”. Released after Bryant’s retirement in 2016, this diamond-encrusted headwear originally retailed for $24,008 and only eight were produced. A Lakers logo and a gold New Era logo are sewn on the cap, while the inside lining is purple satin with a gold-foil printing of Bryant’s career accomplishments adorning the interior. The underside of the brim is made of vibrant gold snakeskin.

Embroidered on the front of this size 7 ½ fitted cap is “24” and “Bryant”, with five genuine diamonds representing Bryant’s five NBA titles arched over “The Black Mamba’s” name. The 59FIFTY sticker is still adhered to the top of the brim. A tag with an NBA logo and a tag with a “2/8” limited-edition indicator are sewn on the inside sweatband. This incredibly rare Bryant artifact comes with the original “24” New Era box. This cap is an extremely thoughtful reflection on Bryant’s legacy as one of the NBA’s greatest champions and stars.
