Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. Hall of Famer, in his Rookie Card appearance. Presented here is an attractive specimen of the short-printed card that constitutes one of the modern football collecting specialty's greatest challenges. The Namath rookie is widely regarded as a "budget-buster" for those pursuing a 1965 set, and it's a condition scarcity to those who insist on the highest standard of appearance. Either way, the difficulty in trying to satisfy its important spot in a collection can seem almost insurmountable. This extremely pleasing piece delivers a worthy approximation of the uncirculated state, with discrepancies limited almost entirely to wisps of bottom-edge corner wear and image alignment oriented toward the starboard aspect. Bright and barely touched Excellent to Mint condition.
