Graded GEM MT 10 by PSA, one of a mere half-dozen examples extant at this level. Hall of Famer, in a Rookie Card appearance. Only a tiny percentage of all O-Pee-Chee Mike Schmidt rookie cards have been assessed at the PSA GEM MT 10 tier. This scarce Canadian-issue memento, with just one-third of its pictorial content devoted to the Phillies' Hall of Famer, is a modern classic depicting the athlete who's universally regarded as one of the best third basemen of all time. The offered specimen is highly noteworthy for its photographic clarity, its bright white borders and its super-sharp corners. Very difficult to find with satisfactory centering, this one boasts gratifying balance in alignment, and pack-fresh rough cuts grace the edges. Here's a truly superb example of a "must-have" collectible, in fantastic Gem Mint condition.
