Presented here is a commemorative clock presented to College Hall of Fame coach Lou Holtz to commemorate Holtz for his 23-game winning streak from 1988-1989 that also saw the 1988 Notre Dame Fighting Irish win the National Title. The winning streak stands as the longest in Notre Dame history. Manufactured by the Howard Miller Clock Company, this 31-inch tall by 6-inch deep classic clock has a traditional face with a pendulum counter. A gold-colored plate on the bottom front reads “The Athletic Department Congratulates LOU HOLTZ ND Consecutive Win Streak: 23 Michigan 1988 – Penn State 1989”. This comes directly from the personal collection of Lou Holtz and a signed LOA from the coaching legend will accompany this clock.
