A Babe Ruth signed baseball is a very desirable and highly popular collectible. The value is quite high and many advanced collectors own one. However, how many collectors have a signed baseball from two of the women in the Babe’s life? That is what is presented here as the Bambino’s distinctive signature adorns the sweet spot of this Official League Ball stamped baseball. The other two signatures on this orb include Ruth’s second wife Claire Ruth and their daughter Julia Ruth, whom Ruth adopted when the Babe and Claire married in 1929. Ruth signed his name in black ink, along with both Claire and Julia. Both Claire’s and Julia’s signatures appear on the south panel below Babe’s sweet spot signature. The ball displays toning and the red and blue stitching are fully intact. An inscription of “Hilo Hawaii Oct. 29 1933” is written in an unknown hand to the left of Babe’s signature. Babe’s signature is strong while the signatures of Claire and Julia are lighter. A one-of-a-kind collectible and this comes with a LOAs from JSA (Y43590) and PSA/DNA (E48666). PSA/DNA has graded Babe’s signature a NM-MT 7, while Claire’s signature graded a 3 and Julia’s a 1.
