Dubbed "The Dream Team" due to the sheer amount of National Basketball Association talent assembled on one team, the 1992 United States Men's Olympic Basketball Team steamrolled through their international opponents during the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. Going a perfect 8-0, the Dream Team defeated their opponents by an average of 44 points per game, defeating Croatia to earn the gold medal. The team was credited with spreading awareness of basketball worldwide, and the greatest team ever assembled was enshrined collectively in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010.

Offered here is a Spalding Indoor/Outdoor basketball signed by 12 members of the 1992 United States Men’s Olympic Basketball Team. The ball features "SPALDING" imprinted in black on one of the panels of this synthetic leather ball. "NBA" and the NBA "Logoman" are imprinted in silver with black trim below the "SPALDING" panel that is also imprinted with "INDOOR/OUTDOOR" in black. "ENDORSED BY THE NBA" appears imprinted in black with the facsimile signature of the late David J. Stern on one of the panels. "1992 BARCELONA" appears painted in black on a white-painted panel that features the Olympics logo. 12 members of the historic 1992 team have signed this basketball with a black marker, with signatures from Hall of Famers Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Charles Barkley, Larry Bird, John Stockton, Magic Johnson, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, Chris Mullin, Clyde Drexler and Karl Malone, along with Christian Laettner. The signatures contain light elements of bleeding. There is wear on the ball below the "1992 Barcelona" painted panel. The item comes with an LOA from JSA (Z25675) for the signatures.
