Encapsulated and graded VG-EX+ 4.5 by PSA, with Autograph Certified and graded "10" by PSA/DNA. Hall of Famer, in his Rookie Card appearance. Gordie Howe will forever be acknowledged as one of the greatest hockey players of all time. (Although it's difficult to assess a player's value while crossing generational lines, most enthusiasts believe that Howe, in his prime, would be just as dominant today as he was in the 1950s.) This always sought-after card displays Howe's precise, familiar penmanship, with which he has used vivid ballpoint ink to render his signature as well as his long-time nickname, "Mr. Hockey." This is a very tempting, lightly circulated example of a popular treasure from Gordie Howe's early career, bearing a splendid example of the legend's autograph. Howe, who enjoyed a 26-year playing career in the NHL and was enshrined at the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1972, passed away in 2016. Very Good to Excellent-plus condition.
