Jimmy Page, founder and leader of Led Zeppelin, is widely considered one of the top guitarists and musicians of all time. He is also a two-time inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (as a member of Yardbirds and Led Zeppelin).

Gibson Custom Division, a branch of Gibson in Nashville, Tennessee released a limited edition of 250 Jimmy Page EDS-1275 Doubleneck guitars in 2007 and were created based on Vintage Original Spec (VOS) standards to replicate the one used for the 1971 Led Zeppelin IV Tour. Gibson first introduced the doubleneck guitar in 1958 with the EDS-1275’s forerunner the “Double 12”. The body and hardware specifications for the EDS-1275 include a solid mahogany SG-style body, a dark cherry finish with walnut filler, chrome hardware, a chrome ABR Bridge with chrome tumblewheels, Schaller strap locks, a five-play pickguard, two volume and tone control knobs, a three-way pickup-selector switch and a three-way neck selector switch. The neck and headstock are one-piece mahogany necks with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard and both necks are imbedded with pearloid split parallelogram inlays. The doulbenecks come with single-ply white binding and a black pickguard.

Page produced and co-wrote Led Zeppelin’s signature song “Stairway to Heaven” and during live performances, he would use the Gibson EDS-1275 model to play that iconic song. This exclusive item comes with a photo certificate of authenticity, with Jimmy Page proudly holding the guitar. Page’s signature, along with the signature of Rick Gembar, General Manager and Senior Vice President Gibson Custom Shop, are below the photo. A serial number “JIMMY PAGE 001” was created to mark this unique item. The guitar also comes in a Gibson custom hard-bound case.
