A rare chance to own a fielding glove used by all time Yankee great, and future first ballot hall of famer Derek Jeter during a World Series Championship season! Jeter had one of his career best seasons in 2000, culminating in the third consecutive Yankees World Series Championship and winning the World Series Most Valuable Player Award! This Rawlings PRO-DJ2 fielder's glove shows light use with some wear in the pocket and face of the web. The glove is made of top grade cowhide and bound with rawhide laces and has a conventional fleece-lined wrist strap. "Derek Jeter" is embroidered in white thread on the outside top of the thumb and the red "R" Rawlings logo is just below the Jeter embroidery. Jeter signed this glove in silver marker on the palm side ring finger and his signature comes with a Steiner Sports hologram. Use is attributed to the 2000 season although with light use it likely saw limited game action. The glove comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00203) for its use. Please note this glove was incorrectly titled and listed in printed catalog as 1997. .
