The second phase of Michael Jordan's career saw the Bulls superstar continue to dominate the game. 1997-1998 was Jordan's last season with the Bulls and he made it count: an average of 28.7 points per game, NBA All-Star First Team honors and the last of his five NBA MVP Awards. In addition Jordan led the Bulls to another NBA Championship where his 2-point jump shot with 5 seconds left won the game. It was the second run of three consecutive championships of the Bulls and Michael Jordan's crowning moment. This classic home white Chicago Bulls jersey was worn my the greatest basketball player of all-time during that last, triumphant season. The best jersey features "BULLS" and Jordan's number "23" on the front in red and black tackle twill. The neck and sleeve openings are trimmed with red, black and white ribbing and the NBA patch is on the left breast. Nike size "50" label is in the lower left front tail along with NBA, Bulls and "Length +4" tagging. The back has "JORDAN" and his number "23" in red and black tackle twill. The jersey shows light game use with a few very light stains and several loose threads on the lettering. A great game used jersey from the very height of Jordan's career. The jersey comes with a COA from the Chicago Bulls whom the original consigner purchased the piece from at their charity auction in 2006. Also included in this lot is a group of ephemera from this auction including the ticket, program, original description tag for the jersey and two color photos of the auction.
