Talk about making a good first impression - Chuck Knoblauch's first year in the majors saw him not only winning the AL Rookie of the Year Award but also helping the Minnesota Twins win a World Championship! This rookie year Louisville Slugger M110 model bat shows evidence of outstanding use and is un-cracked. "Knob" is hand written on the knob end in black marker. Also accompanying this bat is a pair of Franklin batting gloves. Chuck’s last name “Knoblauch” has been written across both straps in red and black bubble letters with “Knob” on the left hand and “Lauch” on the right. The inscriptions of “Lets Go”, “4th of 162” and “Work Hard Play Hard” have been written on the band of these gloves. The right hand glove has a large tear where the knuckle of the thumb would sit and there is heavy staining on the palms of both gloves. Letter of Authenticity (1B11019) from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat a GU 10.
