En route to the 2014 AL MVP award, Los Angeles Angels wunderkind Mike Trout clubbed the 30th of his career-high 36 home runs with this 33.5-inch un-cracked Old Hickory off Miami Marlins hurler Henderson Alvarez at Angel Stadium of Anaheim on August 27, 2014. With this significant home run, Mike joined a group of only four other players in MLB history to have twice had 30+ home run years by their age 22 seasons. Pro Maple MT27* Mike Trout model cupped-end bat reveals evidence of excellent game use with a consistent concentration of ball impressions and blue ink transfers around the barrel with residual Mota Stick on the grip end of the handle and a coating of pine tar on the “Old Hickory” labeling.
