It took a string of injuries to put a stop to A-Rod’s unbelievable streak of 13 consecutive seasons of 30 homers and 100 RBIs. This gamer was used during that 2011 injury-riddled season. The Louisville Slugger C271L model bat displays outstanding use with many ball marks and stitch impressions on the barrel. Blue ink transfers and white leather ball scuffs are visible on the barrel along with cleat marks and the impression of a weighted batting donut. A moderate coat of pine tar is on the handle and the date of manufacture “3/21/2011”, length “34.0” and weight “32.0” are stamped into the knob end. A perfect A-Rod gamer. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA (1B03788) who have graded this bat a GU 8.5.
