As far as Mike Trout was concerned, 2013 was just a continuation of his Rookie of the Year season. The Angels star topped the AL with 109 RBI while hitting .323 with 27 homers. Pitchers tried their best to avoid the kid's power and walked him a league-leading 110 times - and then he stole 33 bases off 'em! This is one of the bats he wielded during that sophomore season. The Old Hickory MT27* model bat is un-cracked and shows outstanding use. The barrel shows the impression of a weighted batting donut and many ball marks and stitch impressions are visible. Blue ink transfers can be seen along with white leather ball scuffs and cleat imprints. A moderate coat of Mota Stick is on the lower handle and pine tar is found on the upper handle. As is common with Trout's game used bats, the lower handle and knob has been taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip. The bat's length "33.5" is stamped into the barrel brand along with "1308144-MT6" which marks the bat as being the 6th bat in work order 144 dated August 2013. To cap off this great gamer, Mike Trout has signed the barrel in contrasting silver marker adding "13 G/U". Letter of Authenticity (1B06570) from PSA/DNA who have given this bat a perfect grade of GU 10 as well as a PSA sticker Z02134 for signature.
