After compiling a 26-23 record and a 3.17 ERA through his first 3 seasons, with just 1 complete game, Clayton Kershaw made some adjustments to his pitching repertoire, and as a result, he has developed into simply the best pitcher of his generation. Consider: Over the last 5 seasons, during which he’s won 3 Cy Young Awards, finished 2nd once and 3rd once, Kershaw has compiled an 88-33 record, striking out 1,249 batters in 1,128 IP to the tune of a ridiculous 2.11 ERA. He was also named the 2014 NL MVP, the first pitcher to win both the Cy Young and MVP in the NL in 46 years. Strangely, Kershaw has not enjoyed the same success in the postseason as he has achieved during the regular season. In 13 career playoff games, he has just 2 wins vs. 6 losses and a 4.59 career postseason ERA. And while there have been some lowlights in his playoff career, there have also been some bright spots, including Game 4 of the 2013 NLDS, played on October 7 at Chavez Ravine. This home white button-down jersey was worn by the lefty during the 2013 NLDS vs. the Atlanta Braves. With “DODGERS” scripted across the chest in blue, above a red “22”, and “KERSHAW” and “22” stitched on the back in solid blue tackle twill, the size 50 jersey features the interlocking LA logo on the left shoulder and a 2013 Postseason patch on the right shoulder.
